Remember back in the old days before the internet? How did Santa stay organized with those huge scrolls of paper? That must have been difficult. No wonder he needed the elves.

So true, I’m thankful for online organizing, that is for sure.

  2. Susan says:

I just learned the other day that Santa mostly uses email now! I feel so behind the times.

I organized all my xmas shopping through amazon wishlists months ago. So awesome!

  4. Karen says:

OMG yes, I have several wishlists on amazon for each person in my family!

  5. Emily says:

Oh yeah, I’m SO with you! I have multiple lists on Amazon – even one for the dogs – however I often forget to change lists when adding things …. so my kid’s list has bully sticks & grizzley salmon oil on it.

  6. lisa says:

LOL, so true! When I was a kid my mom had a little notebook with pages for each kid. The olden days for sure!

  7. Cheryl says:

HAHAHAHA!!! I did exactly that this year so I could e-mail it to my mother and MIL to make shopping easier for all of us. I even had our oldest add stuff to it himself!

  8. Debbie says:

Yep. Me. This year. How did you know?!

  9. kris says:

    My life.

  10. Kelly Trel says:

Oh god, this is so spot on, my wishlist has null for me, just for my girls.

I am so glad for Amazon wish lists! It helps SO much with the grandparents’ giving extravaganza. I only add things that are mom-approved, so while not every gift given comes from the list, most of the more important/big gifts do. I like to keep my lusts updated all year. It is especially helpful for those items that you think you need but can’t rely afford… in a few weeks/months, you either realize you don’t need it after all, or Amazon notifies you that the price has dropped 30% so you can snatch it up quick.

LOVE the Amazon wish lists! A big thank you to my brother-in-law who started using it first!

  13. Sarah Almond says:

Am I the last person in the world to know about these wish lists? I need to get with the program!

  14. Kim says:

My daughter skips the whole paper list part; she just puts stuff she wants in my Amazon cart; I have to remember to move it to “buy later” when I am ordering or my order will total about a thousand dollars and Amazon will deliver a whole truckload of stuff that I didn’t mean to order! I am working on moving all of her wants to her very OWN wishlist on Amazon, but it’s slow going.

  15. Jill says:

I found an Amazon Santa app for the ipad where kids can add pics of what they want and it is connected to mommy’s amazon wishlist so mommy can order.

  16. Andrea says:

I am too disorganized for Amazon, and kind of wish they would compile a wish list for me automatically.
