I feel the same way about kid’s music as you do about kid’s art. But these far surpassed my expectations. They are the Dan Zanes of the art world. Gorgeous and thought provoking. My kids liked all of them. It would be so hard to pick just one.

These are really good. Art for kids is like rhymes for kids, when its bad, its really bad, but sometimes it can be magical.
P.S. The game Dixit has some really interesting art. It is designed as an adult game, but the playing cards have some really interesting art. I have gone through and pulled some of the cards out and used them as a basis for getting kids to make up stories.

Oh my gosh, these are amazing! I love how these works appeal to kids but are stunning and don’t treat kids simplistically by assuming they’ll only like crappy cartoon images.
I love stuff like this for my kids rooms! It can be kind of hit or miss depending on who the artists are, but local art shows and art schools can be a great place to find original artwork for kids rooms, we have had some great luck at local shows and galleries.
